Dear Aunt Evelyn, Robin, Aunt Ann and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Charlie's passing. He was a very dedicated man both to his family and country. I am truly saddened by his loss. The world has lost a good man that family and friends will miss immensely. My sincerest condolences to all.
Even though he wasn't my "real" Uncle, I always felt that he was. He usually answered the phone whenever I called and we had nice chat before Aunt Evelyn came to the phone. Family doesn't necessarily have to be blood related. I met Charlie and Evelyn back in the 1970s through the son of Aunt Evelyn's brother Jim's, son. We have always kept in touch. I salute you for your dedication, service, and love of country, Uncle Charlie. May you rest in peace.

Evelyn, Robin and family: I was so sorry to hear about Charlie's death. This picture of him tells part of his service for his country, I'm impressed by his service pins. Evelyn, you told me about his service and what a good, honest and dedicated man he was to you and Robin and our country. His service in Korea couldn't have been easy, I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you both. My sympathy and condolences to you, all of his family and his friends. Peggy

I remember Mr. Charlie as a child, not only was he our neighbor, he was a dear friend to my parents. We spent many days with him and his family. Honored that both my girls got to meet him. Great family! He will be missed.
