On February 9, 2016, Joseph Francis Martinuzzi, a 20 year veteran of the United States Army, beloved husband for the past 65 years to Elsie Marie Martinuzzi (nee Flaugher); devoted father of Ronald Martinuzzi, Darlene Martinuzzi and her spouse Carolyn Crisp, Sharon Pferdeort and her spouse Thomas, Joann Applestine and her spouse Mark; grandfather of Valerie Pferdeort, Stephanie Pferdeort and Kevin Pferdeort; great grandfather of Jeremy Pferdeort.

Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral services on Friday at 11 AM. Interment with Full Military Honors to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In Lieu of Flowers memorials in his name to Essex United Methodist Church 524 Maryland Avenue Essex, MD 21221 will be appreciated.
