Lawrence Edward Porter, Sr.

Beloved husband of Rachel R. Porter. Devoted father of Larry and Lauren Porter, Regina Porter, Deborah Cheek, Barbara and Frank Melvich, David Porter, Elizabeth Nelson and her fiancé Patrick Wilhelm and Robert and Julie Porter. Loving grandfather of Ben Porter and Gina Dotterwich, Claire Hill, Tim and Kathy Cheek, Keith Porter, Kristen Porter, Ellen Nelson, Kristin and Chris Connor and Allison Barry. Dear great grandchildren: Aiden Hill, Charlotte Conner, Alex Young and Gabi Young. Lawrence is predeceased by his brothers James Porter and his wife Helen, Norbert and his wife Oriole and George Porter and his wife Sally. Also survived by numerous  nieces and nephews.

 Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church on Monday June 6, 2016 at 10 AM. Visitation on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (Beltway exit 36) .  Interment Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery.
