Dear Aunt Marie, I will always remember you being the life of the party whenever we had one whether it be at weddings or just birthday parties. You always loved to dance and sing. You were very special and loved life so much. You will be very missed but I know that now you are with Uncle Tom. Your daughter Martha is very special also. She always took care of you no matter what problems she was having in her own life. She was always there. You can be very proud of her as a daughter and also the care giver she became for you after Uncle Tom died. Love Joanne & Ann.

To my Dear Aunt Marie: Where shall I start? I am often asked how come my name is Rose Mary like it is on my birth certificate. My answer is I am named after my Aunt Rose and my Aunt Marie. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! You were an inspiration to me as a child growing up. My favorite times were in the summer down on Middle River on Sundays which sometimes led to a week stay. The bbq's, swimming, singing, and even the sunburn are still fresh in my memory. Horseshoes flying through the air and fireworks on the 4th were a constant in my life. Oh what a celebration when you arrived in heaven. I can imagine you singing and dancing your way up to reunite with Uncle Tom, Mom and Pop Kraushofer, your sisters, and my Dad and Uncle Donald. I remember the day Tommy, Martha, and I took the boat out to the other side of Middle River. You were such a huge part of my childhood. The last time I seen you was 10 years ago at my Mom's funeral. That is the worse part about living in Ohio not seeing all of the family. I know you are in heaven and the tears and prayers now are for Martha. How will she be able to go on without her " Sunshine" ? I know you will watch over her from heaven and will always be there for her. Fly high Aunt Marie!

Mom.......Where do I begin? You have been the constant in my life since day 1.For 65 years you never stopped teaching or loving me. You embraced each and every new day as a gift from God. You would always look for the best in everyone. When people would hurt you, you always turned the other cheek and moved on. You never stayed upset with anyone. If I would say doesn't that bother you, your reply would be......that's water over the dam.
We were always there for one another, two peas in a pod. We always looked out for each other. I will never forget our Casino adventures or the many nights of bingo we shared.....especially your O-69 ringing of the bell.
You have shared in every important occasion in my children's and grandchildren's lives and for that we our so grateful. You loved to be around all of them especially the little ones. They truly brightened your days.
Taking care of you Mom was one of the greatest privileges of my life. You truly were an inspiration to all as well as my Sunshine and my Sweetie girl. I miss saying goodnight to you and hearing you say goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite to me. I'd say I'll see you in the morning and you would reply.....if the good Lord is willing and the creek don't rise. So remember how much I love you. I will try to make you proud the rest of my life. I will never forget a single thing you have taught me over the years. I will feel you with me every single day. Please watch over all of us, give our love to Dad and know that you are truly missed. You were and will always be my Sunshine. I love you Mom.
Love, Martha

Thank you for being a true inspiration to our family. You were a strong willed woman of integrity! Have no regrets because your spirit will live on in the many lives you touched!! You will be in our thoughts and hearts forever Mommom. Make sure Poppop keeps Jeremy and I safe at work as we strive to accomplish great things like he did in the department... Make sure you take care of Bell's bunny up there... She said she knows Mommom Grammy will watch after her:-) Thank you for always accepting Jeremy's older three as your grandkids because blood isn't what makes us family. I'm going to put a $1 in "your box" (as the kids call it) like I did for Poppy... In case you want to buy something when you get there!! I miss you Mommom and this isn't going to be easy but I'm happy that you are now at peace.
~~~~~Until we meet again,
~~~~~~~~Megan

Mom-mom will forever be missed. I truly enjoyed spending time with her over the years. She always brought so much fun and laughter to any room she was in with her quick wit. A Childress party will never be the same without her there! Thinking of you all during this time.
