I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so very sad that Marlene had been ill for so many years in the prime of her life. It's very sad and I feel that she is at rest now and in God's beautiful heaven.

From the start of Marlene's life she learned to make lemonade out of lemons.She started at a very early age to care for others. She did the cooking, shopping and managed finances for her parents, brothers and sister. At 16 she formally began working and never stopped. Always putting others before herself she often worked a full time job and another part time to make ends meet and provide for others. Never complaining - that is just the way it was. 11 years ago fate stepped in and Kim her daughter took over seeing that Marlene got the best care possible. We knew this time would come and also know that the gates of heaven were ready and open. Those of us left behind will never forget her spirit and determination to be kind, loving and generous.
