On November 14, 2012, Margaret Cooke Smith (nee Sager); beloved wife of the late Walter Franklin Smith; devoted mother of Lee Smith, Barbara Fox and her husband Philip, Larry Smith and his wife Suzanne and Audrey Hansen; dear grandmother of David Smith, Jr. and his wife Suzie, Christina Ford and her husband Douglas, Kimberly Smith and Dean Fox; sister of Helen Zirkle and her husband Doll, Frances Lolly and her husband Allan, Paul Sager, Jr. and his wife Nancy and the late Mary Rauma and her late husband John, and the late Walter Sager and his surviving wife Margaret Anne.
Margaret's life was dedicated to her love of Jesus Christ and her family. Her profound faith carried her through this journey.
Friends may call at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral service on Friday at 10 AM in Orems United Methodist Church, 1020 Orems Road Middle River, 21220. Mrs. Smith will lie in state from 9 AM to 10 AM. Interment Fairfax Cemetery, 10567 Main Street Fairfax, Virginia 22030 at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret's name to Orems United Methodist Church will be appreciated.
