My deepest sympathy to Dannys family. We were good friends in high school and stayed in touch after graduation for a short while. When the watermans association started using the middleborough vfd hall for thier meetings, we got to talking and just had alot of good memories about the class of 1967. rest in peace, my friend drom the past. you will be missed!!!!

Danny you have been a true and faithful friend for many, many years. Always there to lend a hand or a laugh. I'm glad we made the reunion. It will be the last of my great memories. You were the true meaning of a waterman and to me a true Gentleman. You were one of the strongest people I know. I told you God would come when he was ready. I will miss you my dear friend until we meet again where our friendship will never end. Luv ya, Peppermint Pady

Ms. Joyce,
Danny was a one of a kind person. They broke the mold with him. His courage through this battle was noble. But the fight is now over and his Maker has won. May he rest in peace and watch over all of us. Gonna miss that crazy man.

Joyce: There are no words to express the sorrow of Danny's passing. He was one of the most unique and loyal men I have ever met. He will be a tremendous loss to the watermen's community, his family and his friends. But, he will be with us all...all of the time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mick

We are so very sorry to hear this tragic news. Danny and his Dad were very close to my Father (Tom) and they spent many years together on the Bay fishing and hunting together. Danny had a big heart and there is nothing he wouldn't do for his friends.
Since we now reside in Florida we will be unable to attend the Services but know we will be there in spirit.....we will never forget.

My parents thought the world of Danny. When my father Robert Parrott died, Danny came to the store (Parrott''s Grocery) with fish for my mother Mary Parrott and sat and talked to her for a long time. She was delighted that he cared. She always said what good young boy he was and a great waterman. My Sincere Sympathy to his family.

Dear Joyce,

This terrible news breaks my heart. I''''ve known Danny for 35 years and it doesn''''t seem possible that I''''ll never give or get another hug from him.
I know you are hurting terribly and will miss him so much. He was just crazy in love with you and didn''''t mind letting everyone know it.
My deepest sympathy to you and all the family.
With Love,

Our condolences to Joyce and the rest of Dan's family plus all of his friends. We have known Dan all of his life and he was always full of life. He clearly was one of the greatest Chesapeake Bay watermen ever. His strong personality will always be remembered along with his sense of humor and contagious smile. You are sincerely missed my friend. Go with God.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Sam House, Jr. and Our Family

I first met Danny over 30 years ago at the beginning of my career at the Maryland Watermen's Association. He seemed so gruff on the outside but it didn't take long for me to know the real Danny. Always good for a hug and valuable information as a Upper Bay fisherman. When Danny talked about fishing with his grandfather and father it was a spiritual experience. We had our times of not agreeing but always remained friends. I know that Walter has always considered Danny as his waterman brother. Joyce is a force of nature and such a joy to be with and I know she will be strong knowing how very much Danny was a part of so many lives.

Expressing sympathy is never easy, all we can say is how sorry we are, and please accept our condolences. Danny and I went through school together. I won’t forget the time we got in trouble in the second grade and Mrs. Rich banished us to stand behind the piano for the remainder of the day. We couldn’t stop laughing at each other, so she hid us from the rest of the class.
