On March 21st, 2024 John E. Hetterman passed away at the age of 61; Beloved husband of Colleen (Detorie) Hetterman; Loving father of Amanda Brown and her husband Eric and John E. Hetterman, Jr.; Cherished grandfather of Connor and Caleb Brown; Dear brother of Denise Miller and the late Debbie Forbes; Devoted uncle of Nikki Forbes and Briana Hemphill. Predeceased by his parents Joan Locklear and Grayson Hetterman. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.
John was devoted to his family - he especially loved being ‘Pop Pop’ to his two grandsons. He worked for many years in the fire alarm field. He was an avid fan of the Orioles, Ravens, and the Maryland Terrapins.
A celebration to commemorate John’s life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in John’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
