Frederick Glennwood Hettling Jr.

December 27, 1952 ~ September 7, 2019 (age 66)

On September 7, 2019, Frederick Glennwood Hettling Jr, beloved husband of Ruth Hettling (nee Thuerrauch); devoted father of Fred Hettling III and his wife Christine, and Raymond Hettling; cherished grandfather of Keegan Hettling and Freddie Hettling IV; loving son of the late Frederick Hettling Sr. and his wife Agnes (nee Johnson); dear brother of the late Jack Hettling.

Fred loved his family and his friends. No one he met was a stranger, your friends became his friends. When he wasn’t spending time with his loved ones, he could be found hunting, fishing, crabbing, or at his beach house. Fred loved his life. If you could ask him he would say- Don’t worry or feel sad for me, I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
