Mom,
I love you so much! I must say your wishes went just as you wanted! Everyday we spent with you was a wonderful one! Listening to you singing on Saturday, sitting on the deck in the sun with the family was such a beautiful moment. Leaving this world the way you did was classy. Letting us take care of you in your final days, sharing conversation, spending everyday and night with you, putting all of your wishes in order, and just simply holding your hands. I will miss hearing your voice on a daily basis as well as seeing you on the deck relaxing in the sun. I was fortunate enough to have built my home right next door to you so we could always take care of each other.
Please tell everyone in heaven we love and miss them. I hope you are in the arms of your Mother! Go Rest High on That Mountain

I'm so sad to hear of MeeMaw's passing ...
Although I've been away from the family for a while, my love for MeeMaw and for all of you has never changed... You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I'll never forget MeeMaw, and the many deep conversations her and I shared about life. I always valued and appreciated MeeMaw's advice, and always looked forward to our talks.

Death is not extinguishing the light;
it is only putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.
- Rabindranath Tagore

Love you guys and know the strength of the love in this family will carry you.
