Don was a neighborhood icon. Don & his family were the 1st people we met when moving to the Seneca. Always had a smile & often a story. My most cherished memory was the sound of his boat leaving the pier at dawn to harvest crabs. His sons continue the legacy. He will be greatly missed

My favorite memory of Don was when he tried to position himself downwind of me when I was smoking a cigar. He always said how much he missed having a cigar. He was always glad to see everyone and always had a smile on his face. I only had a few chances to be amongst him and his infinite wisdom. But those times I will always remember. Jeff and family I really am sorry that you lost Don so soon. He was a great guy and no doubt the best Dad and Grandfather there ever was. I will miss him greatly. With my deepest sympathies, George.

Don was a great man! I began working for him at a young age and learned the work ethic and family values I needed to take me were I am today! He loved his family and would do anything for anyone in need! It saddens me to hear of his passing and my heart and prayers go out to his family and everyone who knew him.
