On August 31, 2022, Joann Applestine passed away. Beloved wife of Mark Applestine; devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie Martinuzzi; loving sister of Ronald Martinuzzi, Darlene Martinuzzi and her spouse Carolyn, and Sharon Pferdeort and her spouse Tom; dear aunt of Valerie, Stephanie, and Kevin. Also survived by two great-nephews, her feline companion "Sammy", and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A private cremation was held.
