Ada Dorothy Szymanski

On February 22nd, 2026, Ada Dorothy Szymanski passed away peacefully. A Baltimore resident most of her life, she was 101 years of age. She was known fondly as Dorothy or Dottie to those closest to her. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward John Szymanski and a devoted mother to her six children: David (deceased), Mary Diane Kotula, Helen Sharon Meloni, Ed John Szymanski Jr., Michael Szymanski and Jenny Jones. Dorothy is also survived by her four grandchildren, Douglas, Heather, Stephanie, and Timothy and her three great grandchildren Maggie, Tucker, and Lucas. She is preceded in death by her mother Ida Mae Morgan as well as multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered with love and admiration as a faithful caregiver and committed servant to the Lord. 

A graveside service will be held at the Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Dundalk on Friday, February 27th, 2026.
