Amy Dorn

Amy Dorn, 46, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025.

A loving and caring soul who could light up any room, Amy devoted her life to family, friends, and the students she served.

Amy was the cherished mother of Austin Dorn, Gabrielle Dorn, and Maurice Brown; beloved daughter of Ann Anderson; dear sister of Angela Wagner and Richard Anderson; and adored “mimi” to her treasured grand-pups. She will be lovingly remembered by her nephews, many cousins, and a wide circle of extended family and friends.

For many years Amy worked with Baltimore County Public Schools as a dedicated assistant, touching countless lives with her patience and warmth.

Her favorite words, “just keep swimming,” capture her unwavering spirit and optimism.

A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at a later date. 

Amy’s light and love will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
