Brenda Carol Quaty

Brenda Carol Quaty, affectionately known as "Momma," passed away on June 6, 2025, in Essex, Maryland. Born on October 14, 1941, in Keyser, West Virginia, Brenda touched the lives of many through her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support.

Throughout her life, Brenda was not only a devoted mother but also a guiding light for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit and love resonated with family, friends, and even strangers, as she embraced all those who crossed her path. "She was a Momma to everyone," a sentiment echoed by countless individuals who found comfort in her nurturing presence.

Brenda is survived by her loving children, Chris Quaty, Denise Kinlein, and Rob Quaty and their spouses, who carry forward the legacy of compassion and care she instilled in them. She was a proud grandmother to Timothy, Rachael, Dustin, Heather, Scot, and Zackary Kinlein, as well as eleven great-grandchildren who lit up her world with their laughter and joy. Brenda also shared a special bond with her sister, Joyce Sann, and many dear nieces and nephews, who will always remember the love and laughter she brought into their lives.

Brenda is preceded in death by her son, Rick Quaty, and her brothers, Bryce and Paul Hardy. The family felt a profound loss with the passing of her grandson, Greg Quaty, and her grandson, Brandon Kinlein, whose spirits continue to shine brightly in the hearts of their loved ones.

A visitation will be held on June 10, 2025, at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A., from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Brenda’s life and share their cherished memories. A funeral service will take place on June 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, concluding at 11:30 PM.
