Carl Daniel Bruzdzinski Sr., lost his battle with Heart Disease on May 29, 2026.
He was a long-time resident of Dundalk. MD.
He was in the first graduating class of Patapsco High School's class of 1965, where he met his wife of 60 years, Claudia (Maynard) Bruzdzinski. Together they had three children, sons Carl D. Bruzdzinski, Jr. predeceased, and George P. Bruzdzinski, and daughter Dawn M. Bruzdzinski-McEvoy. Four grandchildren, Brittany Bruzdzinski, Stacie Bruzdzinski, Connor McEvoy, and Elizabeth McEvoy, and two great-grandsons, Rxson McEvoy, and Axel McEvoy.
He was predeceased by a sister and one brother. He was surrounded by two brothers, Michael Bruzdzinski Sr., and Joseph Bruzdzinski, as well as their families.
Carl was a Volunteer Firefighter at Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Department at the age of 14 until 20, when he became a Professional Baltimore County Firefighter in 1968. He retired at the rank of Fire Apparatus Driver and Operator with 39 years of service.
He was a dedicated father and husband who loved to be with his family and friends camping, fishing, boating, and having family get togethers. He was an avid woodworker that made toys, furniture, and built buildings. He also was an HO model train buff.
He traveled the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean, with four trips to Alaska in his motor home.
A private cremation was held.
