On February 28th, 2020 David Stamper; Beloved husband of Julia Stamper; Loving father of Michelle Whitmer and Michael Stamper and his wife Laura; Cherished grandfather of Aaron Whitmer, Rhiannon Whitmer, Kendra Stamper and Mallory Stamper; Dear great grandfather of Anijane Sturgeon, Layla Whitmer and Autumn Whitmer; Devoted brother of Geneva Rowe. Also survived by a host of loving family and friends.

A private cremation was held. A memorial service with military honors will be celebrated to honor the life of retired Command Sergeant Major David Stamper on Saturday March 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in St. John's Lutheran Church 518 Franklin Avenue Essex, Maryland 21221.
