Diana Leigh Hensler

Diana Leigh Fraizer-Hensler, 65, of Middle River, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Born and raised in Maryland, Diana spent most of her life in Middle River and dedicated many years to working as a dental assistant. She was known for her caring nature, strong spirit, and the deep love she had for those closest to her.

Above all else, Diana treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, and excited future great-grandmother. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones, sharing life’s moments with family and friends, and doting on her beloved dog, Maggie. The friendships she built throughout her life were important to her, and she was grateful for the many people who filled her life with love, laughter, and support.

In October 2025, Diana was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She faced her journey with strength and determination, surrounded by the people who loved her most.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Ruth Peak Frazier; her father, Andrew Delnor Frazier; and her husband, Robert Hensler.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Amanda Lee, whose strength and unwavering support she deeply admired and her husband, Dennis; her deeply cherished grandchildren, Savannah and her fiancé, Brendan, and McKennah and her husband, Trenton, who are expecting a daughter; her beloved bonus grandchildren, Corey and his family, Jensen, and Davis; her devoted brother, Andy, whom she loved dearly; her nephews, Mason and Jonas and their families; her faithful companion and sidekick, Maggie (aka “Baby Gurdle”); and extended family members and many dear friends.

Family and friends may call at family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221 (at Route 702, Beltway Exit 36), on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A private cremation has been held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dawn Hill Fight Foundation, whose generosity helped Diana during her cancer journey. Donations can be made through their fundraising page and will help provide support to other families facing similar challenges. https://www.paypal.com/US/fundraiser/charity/3367495
