Dolores Mary Dasch, a member of the Essex community, passed away on May 10, 2025, in Middle River, Maryland, at the age of 80. Born on January 24, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland, Dolores spent her early years surrounded by the care of her family, growing up in an environment that instilled in her the values she held to throughout her life.
Dolores's journey was filled with hard work and dedication. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and worked diligently in her ministry work. Additionally, she was faithfully regular in meeting attendance in-person and on Zoom for many years at the East Baltimore Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Regarding work, Dolores spent many years as a factory worker at a model airplane factory. Her contributions to the workplace were consistent, and she took pride in her work.
As a resident of the Essex Co-op Apartments at 1000 Franklin Avenue, Dolores created a home filled with order and simplicity, nurturing her love of art and antiques. Her firmness and consistency left an indelible impression on those who knew her. She had a unique ability to organize her affairs with a view to self-sufficiency.
As we mourn the loss of Dolores, we also can appreciate the legacy of hard work and diligence she has left behind. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to cherish each moment. She was truly one of a kind, authentic, and she will be dearly missed.
Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved family members: her father, Harry Henry Dasch Sr.; her mother, Agnes Dasch [Markiewicz]; and her brother, Harry Dasch Jr.
A memorial service to honor Dolores’s life will be held on May 24, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall located at 211 N. Highland Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224. Friends, family, and community members are invited to gather at 3:00 PM to celebrate the remarkable life of Dolores Mary Dasch and to share in the stories that captured her essence.
As we mourn the loss of Dolores, we also celebrate the legacy of love and kindness she has left behind. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us to cherish each moment and to extend compassion to those around us. She was truly one of a kind, and she will be dearly missed.
