Eric Ramon Carl

On January 27, 2026, Eric R. Carl passed away. Beloved husband of Marjorie Carl and the late Virginia Lee Carl; devoted father of Mark N. Carl (Sandra), Thomas H. Carl (Kimberly), and the late Eric Carl and his surviving spouse Julie; cherished grandfather of Sean, Kimberly, April, Michael, Mason, Marissa, Bradley, Sophia, and Nicholas; dear brother of Judy Saunders and her late husband Bud. Also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1901 Middleborough Road, Essex, Maryland 21221, on February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
