Ethel Virginia Cedrone

Ethel Virginia Cedrone, 85, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on February 22.

Born on October 8, 1940, in Phoenix, MD, she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel and Ethel (Brown) Burk. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry Cedrone. Ethel was the loving mother of Debbie Johansen (Don), Peggy Kohler (Tim), and Barbara Smith (Rick). She was a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren and their spouses: Sarah, Amy, Justin, Donald (Kathleen), Kristen (Andrew), and Randy. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren: Dylan, Leilani, Taylor, Ava, Maddie, Angel, Ryder, and Rayne. She was the beloved sister of Wallace, Eugene, Dennis, Karl, and Gloria, all of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Phyllis Null (William). Ethel was also a loving stepmother to Jerri, Janice, Joanna, and Judy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was blessed with many wonderful friends.

Ethel worked for many years in banking, retail, and as an administrator. She was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose for nearly 50 years, holding many degrees and awards. Volunteering was one of her greatest passions. She dedicated her time to the Moose Lodge, Keswick Multi-Care Center, and the Essex Co-op. Especially dear to her heart was Christmastime, when she and her daughter decorated themed trees and volunteered at the Festival of Trees benefiting the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her hobbies, in addition to volunteering, included playing shuffleboard, shopping at thrift stores, crafting, and most recently playing the keyboard she received for Christmas. She loved all of the holidays and decorated for each. She especially loved snowmen, at one time having a collection over 100 of them.. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Ethel always had a smile on her face and never missed an opportunity to tell others how much she appreciated them.

She was an amazing woman who will never be forgotten.
