On October 15th, 2026 JoAnn Nemec passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of Charles Nemec; Loving mother of Dawn McBride and her husband Brian and Mandy Collins and her husband Nick; Cherished grandmother of Ethan Collins; Dear sister of Jackie Wilson along with her late siblings Charles, Thomas, Oneil, Eugene, Kenneth, Billy, Blair, Eva J, and Evelyn; Dear Aunt to Billie Thompson along with many other nieces and nephews. Also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Friends may call at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A., 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex, Maryland 21221, on Monday, October 19, 2026 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026 at 10 AM, in Oaklawn Cemetery.
