John B. Quity

On October 18, 2026, John B. Quity passed away peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Annie B. Quity; devoted father of Amos Emi Quity, Journey Quity, Catherine Quity, Esther D. Quity, Helena Quity, Moses Quity, Victoria Quity Vonty, Matthew W. Quity, Junior G. Quity, and Sam B. Quity; cherished grandfather of Sundayboy Quity, Thomas Vonty, Patrick Vonty, Johoe Vonty, and over 60 other grandchildren. Also survived by over 100 great-grandchildren.

John was a fisherman, farmer, and a Elder within his communities in Liberia and Ivory Coast. He was a selfless person who helped whoever was in need irrespective of their background.

A graveside service will be held in Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21224, on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
