Beloved husband of Patricia Railey; Loving father of Brenda Sylvester and her husband Ray, Deborah Fortney-Boone and her husband Paul, Larry Thanner and his wife Amy, Bryan Thanner and his wife Meridith, and Matthew Thanner and his wife Valerie; Devoted grandfather of Amber Bailey and her husband Rob, Briana Clingerman, Tyler Sylvester, Georgia Sylvester, Nicholas Fortney, Loralei Thanner, Christopher (CJ) Thanner, Kayla Thanner, Alyssa Thanner, Matthew Thanner Jr., Bella Thanner, and Luca Thanner; Cherished great-grandfather of Reagan Bailey and Conner Bailey; Dear brother of Claudette Frank. 

A private cremation was held.
