Beloved fiancé of Margaret Parrish; devoted father of Holly Dodd and her companion Ralyn Jackson; loving son of Helen and the late Louis Schmitt; cherished “Pop-Pop” of Matthew Pick, Steven Parrish, Jr., and Albanie Parrish; extended family of Alan Parrish, Steven Parrish Sr., Alisha Parrish, and John Parrish Jr.; dear brother of the late Joseph Schmitt and his surviving wife Brenda; loving uncle of Jessica Powers and her husband Michael; loving great-uncle of Brielle and Layla Powers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36) at 3:00 PM. Friends may gather from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
