On October 13, 2025, Michael L. Fertig, Sr., passed away suddenly. Beloved companion of Rachel Ayres; devoted father of Michael L. Fertig, Jr. and his wife Brett, and Michael Ayres; cherished grandfather of Knox and Kai Fertig; dear brother of Wayne Fertig, Ronnie Fertig, and the late Franklin Fertig; loving son of the late Randall and Jewell Fertig; dear uncle of Waynie Fertig, and dear great-uncle of Karlin Fertig.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
