On August 15, 2023, Shirley E. Antkowiak passed away. Beloved wife of Donald G. Antkowiak; devoted mother of the late Donna Williams and her husband Wayne, Carol Phelps and her late husband Tony, Donald Antkowiak II and his companion Shirl Hoffman, Joe Antkowiak and his wife Gail, John Antkowiak, and the late Debbie Edick; dear sister of Viola Trey. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

A private cremation was held. A memorial gathering will be held at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36) on Monday, August 21, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM, where a memorial service will be held at 7 PM.
