Theresa Diane DiPietro

Theresa ‘Diane’ DiPietro, nee Leap, of Essex, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5th, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, compassion, and the deep love she shared with those closest to her. Theresa touched many lives through her generosity, warmth, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Wendy Mizell, and son-in-law, Joe Mizell; her cherished grandchildren, Marina Golden, Adam Mizell, and Garrett Mizell; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Theo Golden and Amaya Mizell. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Messier & Elaine Licato, and her brother, Robert Leap.

Theresa’s family and friends will remember her for the joy she brought into every room, the guidance she offered so freely, and the enduring love she gave throughout her life. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
