On January 20, 2025, Thomas Francis Benedict passed away. Beloved husband of the late Deanna Benedict; devoted stepfather of Deanna Simmons and her husband Paul and  Melissa Harman and her companion Ryan; loving son of the late Francis and Ann Benedict; dear brother of Ann Kerns and her husband Jack, Denise Andrews and her husband Bill, Ronald Benedict and his late wife Sharon, Sharon Birchfield and her husband Tony, Frank Benedict and his wife Brenda, and Mary Klausmeyer and her husband Brian. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36), January 25, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM for a memorial gathering. A private cremation was held.
