Virgil F. Brady, of Essex, Maryland, passed away on October 25, 2006, just days before his 87th birthday. He was born on October 29, 1919, in Junior, West Virginia, and lived a long life marked by dedication, pride, and deep devotion to his family.
Virgil pursued his education at vocational school at Mervo Northwest Baltimore, preparing for a life of steady work and purpose. He joined the Army Reserves and carried that same sense of commitment into his civilian career. With a strong interest in aerospace, he worked at Lockheed Martin Marietta and later at The Boeing Company, a major global aerospace manufacturer. His work reflected both his skill and his genuine enthusiasm for the field he cared about so much.
Those who knew Virgil will remember him as a dedicated and proud man. He took special pride in being a wonderful family man, and that was among the accomplishments closest to his heart. Through the years, he built a life centered not only on hard work, but on the people he loved most.
He shared his life with Myrtle M. Bobart, with whom he married on February 27, 1946. They had many years of happiness together and welcomed three children. Carolyn, in 1947, James, in 1949, and Frances, in 1954. In later years they welcomed 5 grandchildren, Carol, Lingard, James, Shane, and Christine. In their love and memories, his life continues, and his example of commitment to family and work will not be forgotten.
Virgil Brady will be remembered with affection and gratitude by those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to his family and remain a lasting blessing.
