April 16, 1939 to May 24, 2022

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Chichie “Kit” Burleson passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Brown Burleson. Loving mother of Marilyn Dishman, Brenda Arrowood and her husband Avery, Vivian Wray and her husband Michael, Thomas Wayne Burleson and his wife Darlene, Debbie Petty and her husband Michael, the late Robert Canfield and the late Barbara Fields. Cherished grandmother of Robin McMillen and her husband Al, Robert Dishman, Hollie Krout and her husband Justin, Noelle Zeller, Krysta Gray and her husband Paul, Ben Wray, Alex Wray, Richard Alger, Joe Watring, Michelle Watring, and the late Noah Wray. Devoted great-grandmother of Abby, AJ, Hudson, Beckett, Spencer, Kinley, and Paige. Kit also has a great-great grandchild on the way in August. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

Friends may call at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P.A.  1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at Route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.  A gathering will be held at the Synergy Community Church, 7400 German Hill Road, Dundalk, MD 21222, on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM with services starting at 2:00 PM. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Parsons City Cemetery, 103 Cemetery Drive, Parsons, WV 26287 at 12:00 PM. Interment to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kit’s name to the Synergy Community Church, 7400 German Hill Road, Dundalk, MD 21222.
