Obituary

David Paul Warner, 74, of Middle River, MD, beloved husband of Nancy ( nee Baker), entered into the joy of the Lord on August 18, 2023 after a brief battle with brain cancer. Born the youngest child of the late Ralph and Martha Warner (nee Frost). David was preceded to glory by his sister, Marian Bates and his brother Howard Warner.

David graduated from Overlea High School and as a United States Army Veteran, he proudly served our nation in Vietnam as a Biomedical Equipment Specialist. David spent the majority of his work career at Glen L. Martin Airport. Always with a heart to serve the Lord, David spent some time during early adulthood with New Tribes Mission. He also served his home church, Middle River Baptist, as Head Usher, Librarian of the Media Center and as a member of the Visitation Team. In later years, he and his wife, Nancy, were faithful members of Rosedale Baptist Church. A man of strong conviction and quiet faith, David desired to honor God with all that he did, always looking for opportunities to bless and encourage others. He was most at home in his workshop, tinkering with his computers and other devices, and enjoyed spending the holidays and other special occasions celebrating with family and friends. His favorite place to visit was an annual anniversary trip to “The Cabin“ on Bear Mountain, PA, where he and Nancy had honeymooned.

Left to cherish his memory until Jesus comes, is Nancy, his devoted wife of 33 years, nephews: Terry (Caroline) of Chase, MD, and Dennis (Melissa) Bates, of Inwood, WV. Also: grand-nephew Garrett and grand-nieces: Jennifer, Stephanie, Natalie, Olivia and Mallory. Also survived by a host of dear friends and fellow church members. Friends may call at family-owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home, 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex Route 702 (Beltway Exit 36) on Wednesday, August 23rd from 11am to 1pm. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 1pm. Private interment at Bel Air Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Middle River Baptist Church 610 Middle River Road Middle River, Maryland 21220.
