On August 28, 2023, Shirley F. Yox passed away. Beloved wife of the late Edgar H. Yox; devoted mother of Edgar G. Yox and his wife Lisa, Shirley Swalin, Darlene Malick and her husband George, and Eileen Yox; cherished grandmother of Edgar, Holly, Craig, Carrie, Becky, Chris, Matthew, Heather, Brandy, Joey, and Rachel. Also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Stephen Catholic Church, 8030 Bradshaw Road, Kingsville, Maryland 21087, on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 9:00 AM. Friends may call at family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home P. A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. Interment in Belair Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Senator Bob Hooper House.
