Vaughn Phyall was born February 24th, 1969 to Smith Phyall Jr. & the late Myrtle Townsend, who went home to be with the Lord in 2020. He was a veteran of the Marines, honorably discharged for his service, and went on to be a Cable Technician at Comcast, Verizon, and other companies throughout his years. His pastimes included being a talented artist, a movie aficionado and a gamer at heart. 

What he loved more than his pastimes was his family. He was a son, a brother, and a beloved father. Vaughn was a part of a big family consisting of his mother and father, his 2 daughters and 7 siblings. His eldest daughter, Neosha and his youngest daughter, Adanne, were his world. He was proud of his daughters and talked about them wherever he would go. He often said that his daughters were the best thing that ever happened to him and the thing that kept him going, no matter what trial arose in his life. He loved them with all of his heart and would do everything in his power to make sure that his girls were in good health and happy.

Vaughn departed this Earth on February 24th, 2022, the day he was to turn 53 years old. Vaughn is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Townsend, who is now reunited with her eldest son. 

Along with his 2 beloved daughters, Neosha Phyall & Adanne Phyall, he leaves behind Smith Phyall Jr. and Diane Phyall, and his 7 siblings; Derek Phyall, Robbin Walker, Elwood (Steven) Townsend, Joshulyn Brown, Deshawn Brown, Brandon Brown, and Teonna Brown, along with a host of other friends and family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the family owned Bruzdzinski Funeral Home 1407 Old Eastern Avenue Essex (beltway exit 36) at 1:00 PM. Friends  may gather from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
