June 29, 1930 - November 15, 2021

On November 15, 2021, Wanda Lucas (nee Keffer) peacefully passed away alongside her loving family and into God’s graces after an extended period of declining health.

The daughter of Emmitt and Virginia Keffer, she was the beloved wife of the late Roy A. Lucas and devoted mother of daughter Deb Cadd and her husband Doug, and son Randy Lucas and his wife Denise. 

Wanda treasured her grandchildren Sean, Craig, Jamie, and Samantha; great-grandchildren Amanda and Shanon, and through the grace of God, adoringly loved her times with her great great granddaughter Livi during the last year of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings Jim, Tom, and Don Keffer. She is survived by brother Ron.

In addition to being a dear and devoted mother, grandmother great-grandmother, and great great grandmother, Wanda cherished her husband Roy’s family as if they were born from her parents.  She loved each and every one of the Lucas’s and brought that same love to everyone she met.  Gracious in every relationship, always willing to love when someone needed love, her unwavering devotion to her family and friends has made a lasting impression on each generation that follows.  Throughout her life, she held on to an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

A. at 1407 Old Eastern Avenue, Essex at route 702 (beltway exit 36) on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
