Words cannot express how much we are going to miss this beautiful woman. She has taught me so many lessons as far as life goes. She told me a long time ago "Speak up for yourself" and don't let anyone take advantage of you. It will take a long time for this heartache to go away but I know she is a beautiful angel soaring among the heavens with ALL of her loved ones. Always say "I Love You". Fly High Mom. Until we meet again.

The Hirsch family would like to thank you all for your prayers, condolences and well wishes. Your support means the world to us. Thank you and as Mom was fond of telling us, "Never miss an opportunity to say, 'I love you...and mean it.'"

My mother. My confidant. My best friend. My advisor. My football buddy. My source of inspiration and the model by which I attempt to live my life. She leaves some awfully big shoes to fill.
I watched in awe and admiration over the past few days as Mom kept me, my wife, my sister, Marge, and my brother-in-law, Joel, in line to the very end. I watched in amazement as she consoled her family and friends almost to her last breath. I watched in amazement as she ticked off the items on her checklist one by one.
I will never get over this but I know that I will get through this.............eventually.
