I miss you and love you so much. Thank you for being by my side and protecting me in this life. I am sorry I did not write to you on Christmas. Mom spent it with us and the kids. Which was a first and very nice. I try to keep an eye on her for you. I know that you are always with us. Please always be by my side.

We miss you so much. Even though today is Mother's Day it is still important to have the strength of a Father in your life. Thank you for reminding me every day how important is to be brave and to praise god for every second we have on this earth. Love you dad and because of mom I can carry you with me at all times.

Brenda, Thank You for sharing those wonderful moments in Aruba. I pray that for especially today, that you will be able to laugh and remember all the 30 + years you had with Bill. I have many wonderful memories myself with both of you. Laughter and playing cards, and sharing Jesus. One day all things will become clear.
Thank You Brenda for taking such good care of Bill. May You have the Peace of the LORD. I'm sure Bill is eagerly cheering us on to continue in the faith!
Thankful to the LORD for Billy ! Love you, brenda (cousin)

I am glad Brenda wrote me a letter. I did not know when the memorial was but am just sending a note for everyone. Bill was and always will be a wonderful part of my life. When we were young he visited with his mom and dad and brother to our house in New York. We always had a great time and it seemed EVERY time Bill came up he ended up at the emergency room with a cut or a nail in his foot or something, Sooo adventurous and fun to play with. As we got older he was always happy to be with family, a great guy for sure. He was always there to lend an ear. Sweet William will be missed. Love you Billy!!!!

The memorial was absolutely beautiful from the the blue waters and sky to the sunset and fireworks that night. It was very heartwarming to be gathered around in the water to say our goodbyes as we spread your ashes in the spot you and Aunt Brenda had shared so many happy memories together. I know in my heart that you will always be with us and I will miss you so much. I loved our talks about New Zealand and hope that you will find your way to those white shores again. I love you Uncle Bill!

Uncle Bill, I feel very blessed to be a part of your memorial service in Aruba. It was such a special trip for all those involved and allowed us to talk of our memories and time with you. We all know that you were there with us everyday, the signs were all around

What a unique opportunity to be a part of your memorial. It was a beautiful sunset and the sea seemed calmed. Being with family as your ashes flowed all around us, there seemed to be a peace accompanied with a silence like we were the only ones in a huge blue Caribbean Ocean. A very beautiful goodbye indeed. I hope you enjoy your home with the constant waves crashing upon the rocks and the peaceful sound of palm trees swaying in the trade winds. Love you and miss you always Jessica and Kyle.

Just got back from the 30th wedding anniversary trip to Aruba. I dropped your ashes in the Caribbean sea at our favorite spot. You told me before I left that everything would be fine. It was. Your presence was there everyday. I didn't realize that not only was I saying goodbye to you but our place as well. The trip was perfect. You made sure that there were many surprises along the way. I love you. I miss you. I enjoyed our memorial to you and the fireworks were just the perfect finishing touch. Our last night was the family time that everyone needed. You brought us together. Thank you my love. My heart aches for you everyday......

Brenda and family . Bill is at peace at last with his heavenly Father in a place where there is no pain or sadness . I know he did not want to leave his earthly family but his work here was done . We that are left behind grieve but know he is joyful and happy. We will all meet again. It Takes time to understand how God works, I know. Love and prayers. Sharon and Woody

Bill, we will always remember your great smile. Your smile could always light up the room. We so enjoyed talking to you and sharing stories. We also admired what a great husband, father and grandfather you were. We feel blessed to have had you as our brother in law. You have been such a strong fighter for so long. Now you are at peace with our Lord.

First in my prayers, now in my heart
Death is the only thing that keeps us apart
We all know you could not stay
Life never ends on a good day
A long hard battle, you gave a good fight
Now you have gone, but just out of my sight
So it is not good-bye or see you later
It is until we meet again, in heaven, with our creator.

-Love your son Kyle

Dear Dad,
I believe that we have people come into our lives for a reason You brought so many good qualities and wisdom to who I have grown into today. I was truly blessed to have you at mine and my mother's side. You were an excellent provider, protector, and mentor. Thank you for teaching me all of these things. The thing I think that has helped me the most is to be a fighter. When times and things are tough, you fight. I watched you fight so much, more than what any other man could possibly endure. It was very hard to see that but I want you to know that it is okay because in the end we started to see the light in you and every thing you were grow dim. Now we light these candles to keep your light shining. There will always be a piece of you in all of us that will never fade away and make us fighters. I am just a little more blessed than some others who knew you because I was your daughter. I love you dad and I know that you are watching over us now. I hope that I always make you proud.

To my loving husband and soulmate. We had a wonderful life. I will miss you so much. You have given so many memories to cherish. You fought a long hard battle. The battle is done. You flew out of this world like a soaring eagle. You left behind a wake of comfort, peace and healing. I thank you for those precious gifts, as they will sustain me until we meet again. Good night my sweet prince.
