To my gentle giant. Sir Philip Frankin Pownell, how could I have ever known that when you entered my life 10 years ago that you would become one of the most important people in my life. You are such a man of honor. You loved the Lord, your Country, your Family, and your Friends. Your companionship with my mother was a wonderful blessing to our entire family. You stepped into my life and became like a step-father to me, a step father-in-law to Rich, and Ashley and Erika adopted you as their Grandpa. You were my buddy! As important, we became family to you as well. Can't begin to thank you for all the laughs, the times we spent together, and for the multitudes of wisdom that you shared. I thank the Lord that He sent you into our lives as our lives were so greatly enriched with your presence. Your passing has broken my heart, and will forever leave a void that will never be filled. My solace is that I will see you when I join you in our Heavenly Home. I will miss your hugs, your smile, your winks, our chats, our chinese checker games, and oh so much more! I love you, Phil. To Teresa, Bill, Frank, Wendy, and the rest of the family . . . . thank you for sharing your wonderful father with us. Prayers for each of you as you, too, face the loss of your beloved father.
